Virgin Mary and Saint John church in Janaklees announces the beginning of musical educational classes under the supervision of Dr. Nabil Agayby. The classes divide into 2 sections: First: The theoretical section, which is 43 hours of learning and includes: -Theory: 20 hours -Harmony: 10 hours -Orchestration: 3 hours -Form & Analysis: 3 hours -History: 5 hours -Computer & Music: 2 hours After the class ends, the students have an option of applying to the exam of the Royal School after paying a fee of 400 L.E. Second: The practical section (only piano), which is 10 hours of learning: -Technique -Side Reading -Keyboard Harmony -Improvisation Prerequisites for applying to the classes: 1- The school level of the applicant must be starting from third year prep. 2- The applicant must be practicing any musical instrument for 7 months or more. 3-The applicant must know how to read musical notes (e.g. Beyer exercises).
