The heaven harp choir began in 1998. It was limited to a few number of youth performing hymn service in weekly meetings or different church occasions (New year, feast celebrations...etc), under the supervision of church priests and servants keen on the church chanting service.

Our choir team always cared to include Coptic hymns in all his work in order to present the wonderful traditional hymns in a way that is suitable for all. This constructive work has lead us into great success. Within the past few years our activities improved and expanded rapidly. More and more members started joining us and added new successful elements; we became great in number and in knowledge.

In addition to participation in Christian festivals and important occasions such as:
"Millennium Festival”, “The 30th Anniversary for the Accession of His Holiness Pope Shenouda the Third”, and “El Agayby Artistic Festival", the choir annually partakes in “The Praying Day In the cause of church unity".

Regarding the recorded tapes service, we have recently published "Christmas Melodies" with the participation of father Youhanna Nassif. It won the first place in the first Agayby Festival in 2005.

"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."(Hebrews 13:15).
